Despite working long hours they are always positive and full of energy. I currently attend Girl Power fit camp, small group training and as well, personal training once a week. Although all the programs are different they are equally beneficial and I enjoy each one for a different reason. Fit camp gives me a great cardio workout and gets my day started. Small group training is a little more personal with weights and also cardio. My personal training allows me one on one time to work on the areas of my body and fitness level that are important to me. Overall I love all of the programs. Where to start... I have been training now for about 15 months and my body has changed So much, I am so much stronger and healthier. I had terrible posture and that is changing and I actually measure half an inch taller because of it. I have experienced a huge decrease in stress and enjoy a better nights sleep. I have lost at least two clothing sizes and feel great. I would recommend BodyNetix to anyone!!!!

quoteAll three instructors are great. They each have different ways of teaching therefore you are never bored. Encouragement is always given and they always push you hard. The program is as follows: Have you ever been in a gym class and found yourself looking at the time ? Well this class you do not have time to look at the clock. It is an energetic camp that is full of hard (sometimes unwanted exercise like burpees!) combined with cardio and weights all in one very fast hour. I do not know how Carl and Chris do it but this is the first camp that I have been and never know what is coming up. I love it because I'm never bored.

Just when you think you can't do another bi-cep curl or another mountain-climber, they're always there encouraging you to keep going. The fitcamps run by BodyNetix are absolutely fabulous! Having not had success with traditional fitness club memberships in the past I knew I needed to do something to change my lazy ways. The workouts are both fun and challenging. I sometimes go into a workout feeling tired and "not in the mood" and it amazes me how as the workout goes on I get more and more energy. By the time it's over I feel fantastic and ready for life! I have been in the program since November with my motivation at that time being to get in reasonable shape for a trip to Mexico. The results of those early sessions were enough motivation for me to keep going with the program. Since November I have lost approx. 11lbs, have gone down a clothing size, and most importantly feel stronger both inside and out. I feel that this increased strength is helping me to get through 2 life changes happening at the same time - a new home and a new job.

quoteThe instructors are always positive and energetic, but not so positive that you want to kick them. They really seem to believe that I can do whatever they throw at me and that makes me believe in myself. I have been training with BodyNetix since September of 2007. I remember at the beginning when we did cardio, that I would wheeze so badly that I was certain I had asthma. I had it checked out and it turned out that it was caused by poor fitness. Now, when I do the cardio portion, I not only keep up, but I don't wheeze at all. I could go on at great lengths about my increased strength and energy, my ability to fit into smaller clothes, and how exercise makes me a better person by relieving my stress (my family thanks you), but I would like to mention pain relief. Months ago, I had to go to physiotherapy for knee pain. I went back to exercising, but new knee pain struck. A little disheartened, I spoke to Carl about it and he helped me to pinpoint my weakness and gave me exercises to strengthen it. I have been knee-pain free since - and that has been longer than six months!

quoteI think Chris, Carl and Michelle are great. They are always very friendly, ready to go and are very motivating. Their positive energy shows and is transferred over to the class. The instructors are very encouraging and give that extra "push" to make you want to try harder, and to WANT to do that last rep that you didn't think that you had it in you. I love the class that I am in. Even on the days that I don't feel very energetic I have never regretted going. The program is fun and well thoughtout. It has never been boring or run of the mill, there is always lots of variety in the exercises that you do. There is lots of motivation from all the instructors and they are always there to answer any questions or to show a modification if needed. I have recommended these classes to lots of people. I have been training with Bodynetix since March 4 2008. I have felt a noticeable difference in my strength and energy. This hour away helps me to let go of any stress that I may be feeling and to just have fun. Even on those days that I have been too sore to move it hasn't been enough to keep me away.

quoteI thought the mini FitCamp in January was fantastic and I'm also enjoying the current one (I realize it might not look like I'm enjoying it as I huff and puff but I really am). In fact, I've lost 20 pounds since Christmas and feel really good! I don't know why more guys like me don't sign up for classes? I've seen a lot of guys in the Comox Rec. Centre gym over the years who use the machines and weights, but they never seem to get into shape. They should sign up for a Fitcamp! (Ed has now lost over 35 pounds!) Way to go Ed!

quoteChris and Carl put in very long days, but you would never know. We are in their last classes of the day and they still greet us with enthusiasm and a lets get going attitude. Never a dull moment. With the new equipment and the cardio program that Chris has put together for the small group training - we get it all. The equipment is unique and allows for beginner and long-termer to do the same routine but at their own pace (unless Chris thinks you're slacking - then he is on you) Chris and Carl are also very flexible, so if you have an injury or just cannot do a particular exercise they will adapt to something different. Sometimes at the end of the sessions you wonder who is going to drive you home because you can't imagine actually getting into your vehicle let alone turning it on. When that happens you know that Chris and Carl have done their jobs. It's a good feeling actually. I think the whole concept is great. I have been with Chris for almost a year now - 8 months in a semi-private at his studio and since the beginning of February in his small group training. I have never felt better and now that my inner self is stronger and I have more energy I will be concentrating on shedding that extra packaging. Just a note that although my weight has not changed I have dropped 2+ sizes and I don't know how many inches. Chris and I are working on stage 2 and I appreciate the confidence that he has in me to succeed.

quoteI joined BodyNetix in Feb of 08. I had worked with a personal trainer for about 3 years prior, but sadly he passed away. I was given all his home gym equipment but was finding it very difficult to stay motivated on my own. So slowly i did less and less until for about 6 months I did nothing at all. Then one day i heard Chris on the radio and decided to give him a call. Originally all I wanted was for someone to set up a program for me to do at home and get me motivated again. Chris actually took the time and recommended someone to me that does in home training. I thought about it some more and I listened to Chris on the radio and corresponded with him by phone and email and finally decided to go to the grand opening of BodyNetix 2. I joined on the spot in the Small Group Program. I was only going to go for 3 months to get back on track, but I'm hooked now. I love working out with the other ladies in the group. We always manage to have a few good laughs as well as an awesome workout. Chris and Carl have been very professional and motivational all the way. They answer all my questions and are very informative. I feel very comfortable being there. So if you're thinking of getting in shape, I highly recommend you give BodyNetix a try! quoteI started doing strength training with Chris in February 2007 after hearing his ads on the radio. At the age of 42, I had experienced many injuries to my neck, back, shoulders and feet and was just recovering from my third surgery to my wrist. I needed to pass a fitness test for work, but because of my injuries, I was not successful in working out on my own. I went to see Chris for a consultation and he immediately gave me the confidence that I needed to begin to strengthen my body without further injuries. He quickly and easily modified the exercises that I was unable to do due to old injuries or lack of strength. Chris has made working out a fun experience due to his great sense of humour. I have been so successful in my training that I have now been training with Chris for over a year and will continue to do so until I move from the Valley this summer. I passed my fitness test last fall but I enjoy our workouts so much that I decided to continue them twice a week. I have not had any new injuries and I can now easily cope with the old ones. My flexibility and range of motion have improved greatly and I have the strength and stamina to keep up to my energetic 4 year old. I can now be confident with myself and I LOVE the way my new body looks and feels! Chris, I hope you keep my time open for me when I return to the Comox Valley.
